The rooms are large on a different level to the bed level, and the location is beautiful straight to the cathedral. The service is good with public parking available and outstanding meals.

A beautiful, cosy, old, but well kept hotel with friendly people located at a wonderful place. We stayed one night and enjoyed a good dinner on the nice terrasse. The room and dinner prices were not really cheap, but fair. We had room number 25 on the upper floor under the roof, which provided us with a beautiful view over the land and the village.
The bathtub was under two roof slopes, which made it difficult to take a shower. The lack of an elevator may be a problem for people, who don't like to use the stairs.

The rooms were all quiet and bright with fabulous views. the hotel was close to almost all restaurants, Vézelay, in the natural park of Morvan, and the center of a lovely quaint French village. - It's just a short walk away from Les Macarons de Charlou, where I ate once or twice.

Conveniently located at the entry of Vezelay (basilique is on walking distance).
Something (guess airco) made a quiet disturbing noise during the night, went prevented a good night sleep ; we informed the hotel reception about this problem. Bathroom was inconventiently small. Found price/quality ratio for dinner rather disappointing (had in Burgundy better dinners for a smaller price).
